(CBS/AP) Investigators are probing whether a string of suspicious packages was a dry run for a mail bomb blot, according to a U.S. official.

A suspicious package containing a toner cartridge with wires and powder was found during routine screening of cargo in the United Kingdom, prompting authorities to scour three planes and two trucks in the United States on Friday.

Two planes were searched in Philadelphia along with one in Newark, N.J. Two delivery trucks were also examined in New York City. No explosives were found in either the U.S. or the U.K.

The early focus of the investigation centers on Yemen. A Joint Terrorism Task Force source tells CBS News that investigators are looking for between 10-20 packages shipped out of the UPS office in Sanna, Yemen.

Yemen is the home of the al Qaeda branch that claimed responsibility for an attempted bombing of a U.S.-bound airliner on Christmas.

As we endeavor to protect the USA from Islamic Extremist groups, such as al Qaeda, from committing such terrorist activities as planting explosive devices on commercial aircraft for delivery to innocents within our nation, a Minnesota Islamic group (CAIR-MN) wants Delta Air Lines to look into recent allegations of unfair treatment for Muslim travelers.

Yes as the news of the day is focused on the suspicious packages mentioned above, CAIR demonstrates that they truly don’t care about the defense of Americans against deadly offenses as they would rather create distractions ostensibly for their concern about being delayed at an airport. What is the sum total of lost treasure, death, delays and inconveniences resulting from the activities of such radical Islamic groups as al Qaeda as groups such as CAIR give minor lip service to oppose them and in the end do nothing to end the madness, but rather whine about the minor delays of their members.

Yes CAIR-MN demonstrated their primary concern as they released the news from their view of the world:

Muslim group wants Delta investigation of religious profiling claims (Friday, October 29, 2010, 2:04pm CDT)

The state chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) said recent Muslim profiling claims against the biggest carrier at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport call for an investigation of company policies, according to a news release.

For everybody, Bill’s post is a perfect example of Islamic dissimulation (taqiyya). Go to the front of my blog and look at the names of those wanted by the FBI. Every name is that of a Arab specifically a Muslims. What CAIR loves to do is to try and deflect your attention from the real issue. Terror comes in many colors, nationalities and ethnicities. Jihadism does not! Jihadism is not terrorism as narrowly defined but asymmetric warfare developed solely by Muhammad for Muslims. If Delta is more concerned about its passengers’ safety they will dismiss CAIR with prejudice. We will see. Thanks Bill.

      • Bill Schulz says:

In a sane world, the United States and its people would dismiss the fulminations of CAIR, its enablers and and all like minded organizations as irrelevant detractors from the task of defending our land from those who have actively declared and engaged in war. The Jihadists, the radical Islamists, do not target CAIR or the Mosques in America. Why not? The answer is rhetorical for CAIR does not truly oppose our enemy beyond some feeble necessary public relations statements intended to disarm those Americans who obsess with the misguided notion that America deserves its enemies. Thanks Bo, for making your effort to awaken Americans to the real world.
